Note: FDA has no separate category for a batch-release site: batch disposition is a quality-unit duty (21 CFR 211.22). A name/address update with the same site and operations has minimal potential for adverse effect (annual report, 314.70(d)(1)). A real relocation is a §VI site change, PAS for modified-release or dose-controlling products, new aseptic facilities, or sites without a satisfactory CGMP inspection.
